Beginners Course

The next course date has yet to be decided

The course following the One You Couch to 5k app, for new runners and anyone who would like to get back into running

It starts with everyone being shown how to warm up and cool down before and after sessions, to help prevent injuries

Week 1 will be mainly walking, with short periods of slow running, then over the following weeks the running increases and the walking decreases. By the end we hope that you will be able to run a complete loop of Chasewater without stopping ( 5 kilometers / 3 mile )

At the end of each session, the run leader will ask that you repeat what you have just done twice before the next session, the app talks you through what you need to do.

All you need to do is register with the club and turn up
